This role provides the opportunity to work in a great environment with amazing team support that will enable you to become an expert in B2B sales in the financial services and FX market. You will work in our open plan office in central Victoria, two minutes from Victoria station. We have monthly Town Hall meetings where the senior team update on business performance, and regular awards are also given out to people who go the extra mile for each other. In addition to regular team and company social events, we like to enjoy beers together on Fridays and celebrate our successes in full team spirit!

We offer a competitive basic salary + uncapped commission which allows you to potentially double your earnings in the first year.

Note - this is a 100% new business generation sales role that involves cold-calling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, source leads, and identify new business prospects through multiple channels
  • Establish contact with clients on the phone (high volume cold-calling), develop a dialog and identify key revenue generating opportunities
  • Set new appointments with clients that would benefit from using Caxton’s products and hedging solutions
  • Monitor your sales revenue vs. KPIs, ensuring that you meet monthly and YTD targets
  • Attend events to expand your network, and develop new relationships to build a sales pipeline
  • Develop expertise in overseas payments and corporate travel, foreign exchange and the corporate card market
  • Record all activity and information on the company CRM system, and maintain regular contact with clients, updating them on market movements and how Caxton can assist them save time and money.
  • Cross-sell products and services where required and maximise all business development opportunities

Core Requirements

  • Experience in a similar B2B KPI driven corporate sales role (FX sales experience preferred, but not essential)
  • Cold-calling and relationship building skills
  • Ability to close deals on the phone and face-to-face
  • Passionate about the forex market, able to speak confidently about spot and forward contracts with finance directors and senior executives
  • A network of contacts with senior decision makers, directors and ‘C’ suite professionals would be a plus!

Working Hours and Office Environment:

  • Office in a central location in Victoria, just off Cathedral Walk– with cafes, restaurants, and shops on our doorstep
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with one hour for lunch per day
