Our Global Network Services team supports our network infrastructure, troubleshoot, identify and resolve complex network issues, as well as manage the network incidents and service requests.
The team implements and configures changes for incident remediation and approved planned changes. They continuously seek to improve tools, systems and processes and follow processes for Change, Incident and Problem management.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing 24 x 7 x 365 support of the Worldpay network infrastructure to ensure the SLA (Service Level Agreements) are met. You will be troubleshooting, identifying and resolving complex data network issues within the SLA. You €™ll also be taking care of Incident Queue Management to ensure all service requests, incidents and events are resolved within the defined SLA.

We’ll want you to review existing processes and drive forward improvements where required. You’ll assist in the creation of standards in your technical area and advice on best practices. As part of this team, you’ll participate in a 12 hour duty rota to support our network systems and will work to help improve and deliver existing and new application functionality and make sure procedures, policies and best practices are kept up to date.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

A proven ability to plan and execute workload in a dynamic environment, as well as good communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with all required stakeholders. You will have a good understanding of Layer-2 networks including Ethernet, spanning-tree, LACP, VLANs, vPC along with Layer-3 networks, which includes IP, OSPF and BGP. You will have experience with network monitoring and management tools along with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex network faults.

Experience with routing and switching technologies, including Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches and Juniper EX switches are also important.
A minimum qualification of CCNA is needed and we’ll want you to have a background of working in other network operations environments.
