Role descriptionAs a Manager in our practice you will be part of a fast-growing, dynamic and creative team. The role will consist of 2 core components:
  • Plan and implement a range of data analytics and information management and based projects, supporting our key Financial Services clients locally, nationally and internationally.
  • Help drive innovation across our practice by developing new data driven solutions, harnessing cutting-edge technology to help solve our clients most challenging problems
  • Location

    The role will be London based, with significant opportunities for international travel if appropriate. We also offer a range of agile working options

    This will be a full-time role
    Responsibilities

    • Managing and delivering analytics and data driven projects with our FS clients
    • Identifying and leveraging new technologies to develop data focused solutions that can help address client needs €“ e.g. how to manage and address Conduct, Operational or Financial Risk
    • Working across the Firm’s network, and with external technology partners (e.g. Fintechs), to develop new insights and offerings based on challenges our clients face and emerging areas of focus
    • Developing deep and lasting relationships with our clients, continuing to act as a trusted advisor in data analytics
    • Developing the people around you to create a network of specialists we can draw from to support clients in their data challenges
    • Supporting in building awareness and eminence of our capabilities and propositions to ensure our clients understand how we can help them

    Requirements
    • Operated in, or have experience of Information Management, Analytics and/or Data Science within Retail or Corporate Banking
    • Experience delivering services related to one or more of core Information Management, Analytics and Data Science domains:
      • Data Strategy;
      • Data Architecture;
      • Data Governance;
      • Master Data Management;
      • Big data;
      • Visualisation;
      • Analytical modelling;
      • Artificial intelligence;
    • Leading engagements delivering, working with or knowledge on a range of tools such as:
    • Information management tools (e.g. SQL, ETL, RDBMS)
    • Visualization tools (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau)
    • Data science (e.g. R, Python, Alteryx, SAS, SPSS)
    • Big data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
    • Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
    • The ability to work on your own initiative and in many different and challenging environments.
    • Strong planning, organisation and people management skills.
    • The ability to determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.
    • The ability to work on your own initiative and in many different and challenging environments.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients.
    • Understanding of, and experience with, the development of solutions beyond the proof of concept stage into industrial-strength products

    Additional Desirable Experience

    • Application experience of robotics and/or computer vision
    • Postgraduate degree in a scientific subject (Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent and/or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting/industry expertise.
    • Understanding of Data Privacy considerations in the context of Information Management.
    • Degree or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting expertise.
